The apparatus has a fan that pulls outside air via a small opening to capture microscopic pictures of particles. To determine the types of particles, these photographs are analyzed and compared to a library of images stored within the device. The particle counts and sizes are also determined by the picture processing system. The AllerTech mobile app allows users to easily access measured and processed information by displaying all acquired data.
